Novel: The Fault in Our Stars by John Green
The Fault In Our Stars is an amazing book that was written by John Green. It's about a journey of sadness and happiness of a teenager girl name hazel Grace. When she was 13 she suffered lung cancer that made her life change. she cannot go to school because of her sickness. she lives everyday depending on her oxygen tank that delivers oxygen through a cannula. Every Wednesday, Hazel's mom will send her to Support Group so she can make new friends but she doesn't like it. One day, Isaac, a member from Support Group bring his best friend name Augustus. After the meeting ended, Augustus meets Hazel as he really wants to make friend with Hazel. Augustus bring Hazel to his house and have dinner together with his family. They watch a movie and talk about their life. Augustus also had cancer about a year ago which is osteosarcoma and he had a fake leg. Hazel introduces Augustus a novel title 'An Imperial Affliction' and Augustus introduce her 'Midnight Dawn' novel. The novel 'An Imperial Affliction' doesn't have a satisfied ending. When Augustus finished the novel he also want to know the complete ending. Hazel had posted some letters to Peter Van Houten, which is the novel writer several times but he doesn't reply at all. Augustus tries really hard to find Peter's email but fortunately he found Peter Van Houten's assistance email. He has emailed to Ledewij about Peter's novel and Ledewij has also replied. Augustus called Hazel and tell everything about it. Hazel also email to Peter because she wants to know about the ending of the book that he wrote. After a few days, Peter Van Houten reply the email and he want to tell the ending personally to Hazel and Augustus. Unluckily, Peter Van Houten lives in Amsterdam that cost them very high if they want to go. Day after day, Hazel and Augustus become much more closer. the next few weeks Augustus invites Hazel for a picnic. Every child that has cancer can make a wish for the last time to the Genies. Hazel had already spent it by going to Disneyland. Surprisingly, Augustus spends his wish to go to Amsterdam with Hazel. Hazel is delighted with that news and really appreciate Augustus but she is worries about her disease. Hazel's mom try to discuss with Dr. Maria which is Hazel's doctor whether she can go to Amsterdam. One day, early in the morning, Hazel wakes up from her sleep as she feels her head in pain.She can't stand on it and cried for help. In a rush, Hazel parents bring her to the hospital. Her lungs are full of water. She has to stay in The ICU room for a week. Augustus tries to visit her but hey only allowed Hazel's family to see her. After Hazel has cure of her sickness, she eagerly wants to go Amsterdam with Augustus. Dr. Maria arranges a Cancer Team meeting for Hazel. One of the doctor thinks her idea is suck and that make Hazel really disappointed. One day, Dr. Maria told Hazel's mother that she can join that vacation. Hazel is really thrilled about that last minute news. As soon as they arrive Amsterdam they went to their hotel to take a rest. The next day, they visit Peter Van Houten to know the ending of the book. At last, the moment they are waiting for already began. Surprisingly, Peter doesn't know their arriving and he doesn't treat them well. Hazel is so upset so Ledewij bring them to Anne Frank Museum. Unfortunately, they didn't find any answer. When they got back to America, a bad news had made Hazel and Augustus really sad. Augustus has heart cancer and it effected really bad. Almost everyday, hazel visits him and take good care of him. One day, Hazel got a call from Augustus's mother. He is not alive anymore and that makes her so depress and miserable. Her parents tried to cheer her up but it didn't work. when Hazel went to Augustus funeral she was shocked to see Peter Van Houten. As usual Peter is really annoying and he makes people mad about him. The next day, Peter sneakily sits at the back of Hazel car. He told Hazel about the ending of the story. Out of the blue, Peter's book is about his dead daughter. Isaac told Hazel that Augustus had written something for her but she couldn't find it. She tries so hard until she knows that Augustus send some letter to Peter. She asks for help from Ledewij. The letter said lots about Hazel and also about Augustus that really love her.
