Nate Lawson was Erin first love.  Erin dated Nate while they were in Highschool. She shared everything with him including dreams, children and plans for forever. Erin thought she would spend the rest of her life with Nate. Until one night Erin made a mistake Nate could not forgive, leaving her to mourn the relationship she could never get over. Two decades has past, Erin has a successful career and is raising a daughter on her own. After all those years, just when her boyfriend, Rick asked her to marry him, the first thing that popped into her mind was "Nate Lawson".  Erin found herself still stuck up in the past. The more she tried to move on, the more it haunts her. One day, she drives to Nate's old house, she's shocked to see that Nate is still living in the same house. But, she was more surprised that Nate was married to her old friend, Theresa. Erin thought she'd be fine as Nate is married to someone she knew. Later on, she realised that a part of her is still living in the past. Nate keep telling Erin that he wasnt inlove with Theresa and asked her to marry him. Erin was contemplating at first. After her daughter soothe her by telling she is fine with her mother marrying anyone eventhough its not her biological father, she's alright as long as her mother is happy, and thats when Erin finally decided to accept Nate.
