The article is about the strategies for happiness. there are 7 steps to becoming a happier person. From the article, the first step is to make a conscious choice to boost your happiness. For example, choose to be in the environments and around people that can increase you probability of happiness. the second step is to cultivate gratitude and the third is to foster forgiveness. Holding a grudge and nursing grievances can affect physical as well as mental health. One way to curtail these kinds of feelings is to foster forgiveness. the next step is to counteract negative thoughts and feelings. the fifth step is to remember that money can't buy happiness. Regardless of what we achieve in the pursuit of stuff, it's never going to bring about an enduring state of happiness. The sixth step is to foster friendship. One Australian study found that people over 70 who had the strongest  network of friends lived much longer. and the final step is to engage in meaningful activities.
