title:Snippitty's Shears


      Snippitty's garden was in a dreadful mess.The grass need to be cutting,the hedge need to be clipping and the weeds had grown so tall that Snippitty could hardly see the flowers.He had been away for his holiday,so he doesn't have time to clean his garden.He thought that he doesn't feel like spending all the week clipping and cutting.He said that he wanted tobuy a pair of magic shears from Puddle,the gnome.Puddle was very clever,and he could put a spell into anything and make it very powerful indeed.When Snippitty got the magic shears,he asked Puddle how mush was the shears.Puddle said that the shears cost thirty pence.Snippitt did not believe that because he thought it was too expensive.Then Puddle said that it was ot expensive when compared to next town,the price was fifty pence or even seventy pence.Snippitty realize about that but he was a mean little fellow,and he wasn't going to pay more than he could help.Snippitty just pay twenty pence to Puddle.Puddle looked at the mean little gnome and felt very angry.Suddenly,Puddle said 'all right' with a big grin.Snippitty thought that he had got his way.Then he was stuck the shears in the grass and said loudly 'Shears,do your work!'.Snippitty was satisfied with the shears job.Hethought he wanted to read newspaper while sit on the chair and ask the shears to cut on the tail weeds.But unfortunately Snippitty fell fast asleep.The shears did not stop,after they finished the hedge,the weeds,they flew across to look around for something else to clip.They clipped down all the rose trees that Snippitty was so proud of.They also cut into half and into pieces the clothes line and tennis net.Suddenly,the shears cut Snippitty's beard into three pieces.The noise woke Snippitty and he was shocked to see all that.Snippitty ask the shears to stop but the shears keep cut and cut the points of his shoes.He felt very angry and rushed to Puddle's shop.He told everything to Puddle.Puddle said if he want the spell to stop them,so, he must pay ten pence more.Snippitty pay ten pence to Puddle.He thought that the shears is not useful so, he wanted to throw themaway but Puddle said that maybe it will be useful next time.Snippitty also realize to what he had done to Puddle and he said sorry to Puddle.
